It was a pleasure reading about actual working class folks for a change. Although the plot is interesting and the characters fun, I will say that there was something about the rhythm of this book that I found less than appealing. I still can't figure what it was about the pacing, but it seemed a little off.
Spoiler: what fun to read about women acting out of character and showing some spunk. Some will find offense with the ends to a means, as I had a difficult time with blatantly destroying innocent people's property.

I think this was my favorite Milly Johnson book so far...and I have read everything and loved loved loved everything she has written. I loved the strategy, goodness and friendship of the main characters. I wish I hadn't read it so fast because I would love to savor it some more. I love Milly Johnson. Hurry, write your next book. I can't wait.
